Strength, Courage and Wisdom

April 15, 2021 By Joy Rosenthal

Strength, courage, and wisdom
And it’s been inside of me all along
Strength, courage, and wisdom
Inside of me…

India Arie

I don’t think there is any question but that 2020 was one of the toughest years on record.  Was it for you?  It certainly was for me.  The year brought one challenge after another – personally and professionally. Everything shut down so quickly!  We thought it was going to last a few weeks… and now it’s been over a year since our worlds turned upside down.

We can just listen to the news to hear how hard it has been.  But what the media does not focus on enough is how we have reinvented ourselves in so many ways – big and small.  We have come through for each other.  We have relied on each other.  We have found ways to connect from afar.  We have found our voices and our hearts.  We have adapted.  And adapted.  And adjusted and adapted.

So, my question to you is, what have you learned about yourself in the last year? What did you do that you never thought you’d be able to do? How have you taken care of yourself? How have you used your creativity? What strengths have you drawn on that you didn’t know you had?  Who were the people who came through for you in surprising ways?

Where did you get your strength, courage and wisdom?

I would love to hear from you!
