Parent-Teen Mediation
As teens negotiate the transition between childhood and adult life and begin to establish independence, there are almost always conflicts between them and their caregivers. Many teens feel like they are not being listened to or respected. They do not realize that their parents often feel the same way.
We bring parents and teens together to help facilitate communication in an atmosphere of mutual respect to address issues such as curfew, chores, school, friends, music, clothes, communication, respect, privacy, independence, dating, sexual orientation, standoffs with step-parents or similar issues.
We have years of experience working with and earning the respect of teens and their parents and guardians and can help provide a bridge of communication.
